"I'm glad it's you" -- Powerful scene from Road to Perdition

I could have sworn I had sifted this already. Don't watch this if you haven't seen Road to Perdition -- this is Paul Newman's final scene in the film, and it is amazingly powerful. Easily one of my favourite scenes in any movie, ever.

Excellent scene. Never seen the movie, but this was skillfully done.

I don't know, after the build up and shooting then the camera pans around.... and it's Tom Hanks! In my head I heard one of those record scratching YOINK sounds. I can't get a cold blooded gangster vibe from him.

It's a fantastic movie... just a little bit too sad for me to want to re-watch since seeing it opening day in 2002.

Apart from loving just about the whole thing, my biggest impression of the movie was that it had (and still has) the chubbiest rain I've seen in a movie. Is there any movie with chubbier rain?
