Ekleksays...Great video! Clouds:) I first thought it was a pity the video was shot behind glas but later on the sun+glass created a nice special effect.
And no sound, I'll make a playlist of soundless clips.
siftbotsays...Moving this video to Zonbie's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
uhohzombiessays...Ah, good ol' hurricanes. I've been through countless numbers in my lifetime, the worst of which was Andrew in '92. Frances didn't really bother us much here in Miami, though. We only got the southernmost edge of the storm as it passed over central Florida. Plus, she was a Category 2 storm, compared to Andrew which was a Category 5. I actually quite enjoy the low-strength hurricanes when they hit us; not only do I get a day or two off work, but the rain and winds are great to mess around in. My buddy and I used to go skateboarding when the winds were high as your body would act almost like a sail and propel you around. It's hurricane season now too, so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for one more Cat 1 or 2 storm to pass by before I leave South Florida forever in the late fall.
Croccydilesays...This was unfortunate, however, for those of us in central Florida. Frances was a very slow moving and weaker storm, dropping 20 inches of rain in some places. I credit this particular hurricane for literally flooding me out of house and home!
Imagine 1:02-1:08 of the video for 48 hours, that is how it was here.
Obsidianfiresays...Hurricanes. When the sun decides to fire it's laz0rz.
I've been through about 5-7 here myself, from Central FL, to Tampa region. I remember the time my family went to the Tampa area to get away from a hurricane that was supposed to hit Central FL especially hard (where we lived at the time). We ended up having worse effects from the Tampa area then Central FL ever got. Fun times, fun times..
