This animation gave me a new idea for a videogame: "Command & Conquer: Katrina Response". You could either play as the hurricane or as FEMA, either way you're "the bad guy".

I don't remember hearing much about Nextel during that time either. I do remember that it took FOREVER for my Cingular service to come back online.

This is all great. I give them credit for that. However, I deal with there customer service all the time at work and I can tell you that the company sucks. Maybe next time I call for support I will tell them that my house is flooded and the water is up to my neck. Maybe then I wont have to wait on hold for two hours! (NOT AN EXAGGERATION)
