How can you tell if a dog is smarter than their owner?

When the owner throws the ball into his disgusting pool and expects the dog to go get it, he must think the dog is dumb. When the dog figures out how to get the ball WITHOUT swimming in swamp thing's pool, he is clearly winning in the brain competition!

no way man, the dog learned that trick on his own, the first time he realized he could float on the raft-he probably did not begin that feat, with so much confidence-The larger brain, set it up for the dog to be able to do it.....
