How broken is Sonic the Hedgehog?

With Sonic going next-gen, Sega should had met expectations... but with this game was a complete disappointment with its long load times (the dreamcast loads stages faster than this) and worse yet, it feels like your playing an unfinished game...

I'm sure most of us would have been ok waiting another 6 months if most of theses bugs, issues, load times and glitches were fixed up correctly...

it definitely seems to have a decent amount of bugs and may very well have been pushed out early, but is it just me or is about half of this video just footage of somebody (intentionally?) playing badly?

I think most of us would have been fine waiting for it to never come out.

Some narration or titles to explain what's going wrong would help.

Man, and I used to like Sonic the Hedgehog. I hope the new game they're making is good.

While it may just look like someone playing badly, nearly every instance of failure in this video was actually the result of the controls fighting the individuals playing the game.
