I find it so frustrating that we need programs like this 150 years after evolution was introduced. It should be fucking obvious by now that evolution is scientific. Worst of all, most of the people who actually need to understand and be exposed to the material of this video will not even bother.

this is excellent.

It's not always stupid though, sometimes it's misplaced trust and dishonesty. This isn't a debate I normally enjoy but a week or two ago I ran across a couple of fairly bright kids who had their heads filled with nonsense from one of these groups.

As far as I'm concerned people can believe anything that they want to, it's when they mislead others and lie to push their ideas that I get irritated. I explained the difference between common and scientific use of the term "theory", hypothesis, and that type of thing and walked them through a few things with the help of videos by potholer54 and cdk007, I think they might be ok.

But damn, there's a lot of other kids out there being lied to and confused as well. If they can't get their biblical message out without repeated violations of their own 9th Commandment, thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor, then they might want to give some real thought to exactly what cause they are serving.

If the outright lies about what science said would end so would my interest in the subject.
