Houston Police Not Open To Any Outside Investigation

Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo promised during a community town hall Monday night to end the department policy of "no-knock" warrants, following last month's botched raid that turned into a deadly murder of the wrong, innocent people (and dogs) based on police lies.
He also announced that he would not accept any outside investigation of his officers, would not be stepping down for the multiple lies he told the public about the raid in his efforts to shield his officers, and promised that some time in the future they would start using the body cameras they already have.
