siftbotMoving this video to Drax's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
steroidgsays...Every time I think of Arma and Ofp, I think of primitive and unreliable scripting, retarded AI, horrible, exploitable network code, woman characters that screams like men when shot and my motor cycle wheel occupying the same space as a fence. Problems that should have been fixed after OFP: Resistance. Instead they concentrated on the graphics.
.
It could have been great, instead it's just mediocre
Sylvester_InkBoth Arma 1 and 2 are ambitious games. It's expected that they would have some issues. Granted some of the more severe issues should have been ironed out before release, but BIS has a good track record of updating and supporting their games long after release. Arma 2 has improved significantly since the initial release, and all the engine improvements from the upcoming expansion will be backported to the vanilla game as a patch.
And really, I don't mind the lower review ratings and the lack of interest from the gaming community at large. All that would do is draw more players in that act like idiots, and that would diminish the fun of multiplayer. Let them think the game sucks. Those of us that appreciate it will have more fun without them.
antI tried the demo, but it was SO buggy and hard to play. Is it still like that?

Exactly on all accounts. And the AI in ARMAII is generally pretty damn good, add in the Zeus mod and the soldiers are freaking scary.
