Charged with stalking and disturbing the peace by phone calls to his girlfriend this idiot headbutts a phone in court. The police then use pepper spray to calm him down which also forces others to leave the courtroom. He received an additional 30 days in jail for contempt of court.

The pepper spray is backup if things get hairy, not a punishing tool. He was handcuffed, on the floor and there were three officers.

Yes, it is. However, a crazed convict refusing to cooperate with TWO, then THREE officers of the law is "getting hairy"

Mace is actually there as a tool that is used to induce submission.

He wasn't maced to be punished. He was maced to get him to settle the fuck down.

He got what he ask for, quit blaming the officers for doing what they needed to!
