Seems like the wizarding world is still using dial-up. On a side note, this reminds me of the painful cackling of a new hire in my office.

He's probably been flying in that cramped box since South America. He deserves a hiss or two, the ugly bastard.

I don't get the Harry Potter connection.

And he uses the owl for communication (envelopes). Also, this owl makes dial-up tones.
