joedirtsays...LOL.. I don't know how I feel about this. Iranian propaganda is more accurate than US reports to the public about Gitmo. And their propaganda is a lot more accurate about the US than US propaganda about 'terrirsts'
drattussays...I'll give it an upvote just because it's an important subject, not crazy about the source though. By denying the Geneva Conventions we've opened ourselves to others assuming the worst of us and in some cases, not all, it might even be true. Some are true bad guys but even they shouldn't be treated in a way that violates our own laws, past military and civilian court rulings, and that violate international conventions we've agreed to.
It's more about who we are than who they are. A people can't do things like that without paying a price.
Farhad2000says...I don't know how much of this is propaganda considering the military has the power to imprison you just thinking you are involved with terrorism.
gluoniumsays...upvote for comedic value? it is petty hilarious.
J-Rovasays..."A people can't do things like that without paying a price." ... "A people"? Do you mean "a government?"
drattussays...No, I mean a people. The ones in Government today will retire and be gone before we know it, behind a wall of privilege and wealth most have they'll never feel the effects of what we do in any real way.
The ones who will pay for it are our kids and grandkids in the wars and under they rules they'll have to deal with as a result of the last few years. It's never a government that pays the price, it's always the people.
