Farhad2000says...Yes yes I know it's not really obscure and it's appeared everywhere but frankly very few know that it's Gershon Kingsley original and think it's created by the stupid frog or Gigi Da Gistino.
See Gershon Kingsley himself perform Popcorn on a piano in 2007. A great version as well which is far more melancholy.

jonnysays...Isn't this supposedly the first song composed on/for a synthesizer? This version is very different from the one I'm familiar with - more lilty or something. I always thought Moog composed it himself. I heard him interviewed on "Fresh Air" years ago and they talked about this for a while.
