MycroftHomlzVery nice...you got me. Ironically yesterday I spent some time looking for a real trailer. Until I read your comment, I was pretty pissed you beat me to it.
You have to love a guy who has allegiance to characters he spends books developing.
rossprudensays...Upvote simply for the technical accomplishment of cutting a fake trailer together and making it look real.
Crazy-drummersays...Winter is coming, time for a *requeue
siftbotRe-queueing this video for one more try; last queued Friday, December 21st, 2007 10:19am PST - requeue requested by submitter Crazy-drummer.
EnzoblueIt would be absolutely impossible to make Songs of Fire and Ice into a movie. The books are so incredibly rich they threaten to collapse under their own weight - a movie would require an almost complete re-write to the point where it wouldn't be recognizable except for the names.
Crazy-drummersays...FYI, HBO has optioned Ice and Fire for a TV series...
Nothing new on that since the writers strike but there was mention of 1 season per book and one episode screenplay by Martin himself per season.
more info on Martin's site: http://www.georgerrmartin.com

GDGDI pretty much just crapped my pants at work thinking 'Oh, no, what have they done?'
Pretty well put together, and now I wish it were the real deal
Wakesays...Wow you just got my hopes so high in a HOW DID I MISS THIS kind of way. I'm glad HBO got the rights if anybody could do this series justice it'd be them. I'm still pretty skeptical though. If anybody but http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0227759/ plays The Imp I'll be sad.
