I loved this song before Microsoft raped it for everything that it was worth with their Gears of War ad. Brilliant ad. But major overplay of this song. I can't bear hearing it anymore.

Fortunately I missed that whole Gears of War adstravaganza, so the song still works for me. And Donnie Darko was an excellent movie. I actually enjoyed doing the whole boatload of research to figure out what it all meant. ;-)
