Gary Busey on David Letterman, nearly 2 years after his big motorcycle accident that cracked his skull open. At the time he was still quick, vivid, articulate, animated. What happened to him? Probably drugs. Lots of drugs.

He was involved in a nasty motorcycle accident in 1988 where he skull fractures and suffered permanent brain damage, which is also apparently why his left eye has slowly sunken to where it is today.

But the space-cadet side was already set in back then, though. Check out this interview from the set of Predator 2 (1990).
