johnald128says...i dont think it is a conflict, it's people being shown facts that perhaps hadnt been explained to them properly before and they can just weigh them up for themselves. it's just opinions, there will be no train crash, perhaps just less religious believers.
chrissmithsays...I'm certain our British friends have been impressed by the way our judicial system forever resolved that dilemna back in '25 & by the way the two parties have so peacefully coexisted since! Nope, no train crashes here!

In a perfect world, filled with rational people. This is true. Alas.....
TickleMyElmosays...A better metaphor would be a couple of clowns on a handcart, throwing eggs at the onrushing train of science while desperately trying to pump hard enough to not get dragged under the wheels.
In the end, they can have no effect at all on the truth, and they're ultimately doomed.
