Fry and Laurie's Countdown satire, lampooning its famously boring presenter, who was actually loved by millions and whose voice makes me think about making some toast and putting the kettle on.

Ah good old twice-nightly Whiteley! R.I.P.

Worth noting that Countdown was a launch programme for Channel 4 in 1982 and is still going strong.

Oh and he set the slowest time on the Top Gear track.
