If you were to make a best of Nobuo Uematsu, you would see countless pieces being suggested to add one (one winged angel anyone?)
But one piece that would be on the top of the list (besides the one I just said) would have to be the Opera Piece that was seen in Final Fantasy VI... The piece was called Aria di Mezzo Carattere written by Nobuo Uematsu... What made this piece so remarkable was that this was the first time we actually heard singing during a video game, and while we couldn't really hear the lyrics, the timing with the music was spot on and was overall a great performance
The following is actually the gameplay synced with the actual live performance, with a bit of editing here and there (such as the fights with the rats and near the end when everything starts to fall apart)...
P.S. The Opera scene should look familiar if any of you saw the longest sift ever submited... (Final Fantasy VI speed demo that is over five hours long...)

SDGundamXsays...Interesting. The lyrics are sung in Japanese. Never played 6. If they come out with a DS version I might have to pick it up.

raddishssays...One of my favorite scenes in video game history. I think I still have a save point on my cartridge right before this so I could watch it anytime I wanted to.
