Chuck is a good writer even if his style can get a bit tiring at times.

I have Palahniuk's "True Stories" on my coffee table right now. One story is told from the point of view of a small child, stuck by suction to the bottom of a swimming pool, surrounded in a cloud of his own black bile as his intestines are extruded through his anus.

absolutely loved "fight club" the only reason i knew it was a book was that on the commentary, chuck is there and actually admits that he likes the ending to the movie better than the one he wrote. read the book and fell in love.

budzos, is that true?

The story budzos is referring to (and spoiling by the way) is the story Guts by Chuck. This story is in the mold of what he is talking about in the clip, and was obviously inspired by the weather anecdote at the end. It is an excellent, well written story, except I think that he could have left out the extra twist involving the protagonist's sister, which was just a bit too unbelievable in my opinion.
