One of my heroes, Dr. Wilson, discusses his work with ants, his new book 'The Creation' (directed towards involving the religious with environmental conservation), and how he can't remember the U.S. national anthem. No stranger to controversy, Wilson also discusses socio-biology as his favorite achievement. Interview by the wonderful Seed Magazine (byline;'science is culture'). 8min long.

Raised in an evangelical Baptist household in Alabama, its always a pleasure to hear Dr. Wilson talk about his views on the pairing of religion and science. I highly recommend all of his books (even The Ant, which, in a pinch, could certainly serve to bludgeon even the thickest of skulls).

Dr. Wilson came and spoke at my school; the man is incredible, a true genius!
