The driver and passenger were both killed in this, I've seen this a few times on the OMG POLICE CHASE!!!!1 shows they have here in the States. I believe both of them were teenagers.

I remember Sheriff John Bunnell saying that they had stolen a lawnmower and wouldn't stop for the cops. It was at the end of the show as a sober reminder of what can happen in the worst case, quite effective.
