Paro and Devdas were brought up living next to each other, they had fallen in love, however Devdas leaves for several years to pursue an education elsewehere, Paro has been burning a lamp for him ever since awaiting his return, the lamp signifies her enduring love for him. She sings of this as she is about to meet Devdas, for first time in years.

The best moment is at 3:06. I love that part.

the drums are great. great contrast to her voice, yet help set the mood.
