I don't understand your comment, because they have an irrational grasp on reality as children they will unavoidably become irrational adults? Sounds like nonsense.
honkeytonk73Lets take a small step back and look at this from a slightly different perspective.
If you teach a child that the color blue is in fact red, and that red is blue.. feeding him the lie day in and day out, telling him it is an infallible truth...
Bolster it further by handing him a 'proven' text supposedly written by 'God' fostering the lie. He will grow up to be an adult believing that blue is in fact red, and that anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded and going against the word of God.
Brainwashing is a powerful thing.
