David Lynch's WEIRD cigarette ad...

A very unusual commercial for Parisienne cigarettes. I'm not sure if it actually has anything at all to do with the product, not sure what is going on, and it is in reverse.
It is bizarre and it is Lynch. Surprising, I know. :P

Trying to describe most of David Lynch's work is like trying to describe a dream...this commercial is no exception.

those are good questions, and I wish could answer them. I only heard about this from a friend who is a big D. Lynch fan like myself, and he told me to check out this awesome crazy weird cig ad he stumbled upon. Anyone out there know? I will try to find answers...

So... I found some more info on this ad from http://www.lynchnet.com/ads/ ---Part of the Parisienne People campaign. An ad for F.J. Burrus's Parisienne cigarettes in Switzerland. It's part of a series featuring famous directors such as Jean-Luc Godard, Enki Bilal, Emir Kusturica and Giuseppe Tornatore. The ad aired in theaters throughout Switzerland.
