Enzobluesays...Nothing feels better than going to a diner named Jim's, and seeing a guy named Jim behind the grill. I really miss that here.
fissionchipssays...Sure it's still possible to purchase goods and services only from independently owned businesses. To do so as a gimmick for a documentary seems pointless, verging on hypocritical. Then again, I find all these "OMFG look at these crazy rules I lived by for 30 days!!" documentaries fairly tedious.
People stay at chain hotels because they offer consistent service (I find large hotels to be devoid of human life.) People buy coffee from Starbucks because they like the product (I've never bought a Starbucks coffee so I can't judge).
