Dana Perino: Questioned :How many Civilians have we killed?

During the question and answer she is asked "How many civilians have we killed in Iraq?"

Then the lady states that Regret doesnt bring back a life.

Dana Perino is trying to cover the fact that she is disturbed by the question by drinking her coffee and touching her face.

Classic signs of distress, o shit hard question I gotta dissipate that lump in my throat and the heat coming to my face, and try not to let the little salty water things roll down my eyes.

"The lady" is Helen Thomas, one of the senior-most members of the White House Press Corps. She joined the United Press International in 1943, left when right-wing religious radicals (News World Communications Inc.) bought it out in 2000, and has worked for Hearst Newspapers since.

She is nothing short of a national treasure and one of the most respected journalists in the field. She was reporting from the White House press room while Perino was just an itch in her daddy's crotch. The way Perino speaks to her in this clip is just disgraceful.

Oh, I almost forgot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helen_Thomas

True that. She is particularly known for asking the difficult questions (rhetorically) that few of her colleagues dare to ask for the purpose of implying incompetance or falsehood on the part of the White House. Go get 'em!

Helen Thomas: "No matter how many more people we kill?"

Dana Perino: "I find it really unfortunate that you use your front row position, bestowed upon you by your colleagues, to make such statements. It is an honor and a priviledge to be in a briefing room, and to suggest that we at the United States are killing innocent people is just absurd and very offensive."

It's not a "privilege" you nazi-fucker, the right to a free press is the goddamned first amendment.

Attempting to dodge a pertinent question about casualties by pretending it's an insult to the country that there was an assumption that in wars innocent people are killed is just deplorable.

If you're uncomfortable talking about civilian deaths during wartime, either don't start the war, or don't take a job as the spokesperson for the leader who's running that war.
