To be fair, that's a turnpike rest area. You can only get to the McD's that is on the same side of the road that you are, so you always get the same restaurants on both sides.

Meh, there's two Starbucks cross-corner from eachother downtown here. And here you can walk across the street from one to the other without risking your life (well, no more than normal anyhow).
