Back when I was a young teen, my dad bought me a playboy cuz I asked him to. He was very cool and didn't make a big deal about it. I think if he hadn't, I would have found a way to get it anyway. The 386 just came out about that time so it's hard to imagine what parents have to deal with these days, so I think this father is on the right path...
