This 2001 film follows DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist on a limited tour of their "Product Placement" mix sessions. These sessions are only two DJs, four turntables, and all 7" 45 rpm records. The dual virtuosos of the turntables wow crowds from Tokyo, London, and San Francisco.

I was pleased to find this on DVD over a year ago, even more so when I also found this on Google Video last night: an incredible live turntablism showcase by 2 of the best ever DJ/Producers. I especially like the use of classic tracks and breaks (also two of the best vinyl hunters around, as the documentary part and my playlist [DecksTerity] shows). I think the vintage advert voice-overs etc (where the Product Placement title comes from) and the Milk? section (two thirds in) are hilarious!
