Thats why most landing craft have wheels, so they can beach! Plus proper planning and intelligence would have scouted a nice place to land. During D day those stupid life preservers actually caused casualties because they don't work when you have over 50 pounds of equipment(ITS WET TOO so its even heavier). Heh was still funny.
