In South Korea, one third of the population is playing internet games.

For some, it is not only a hobby but a well-paid profession. Corporations sponsor teams and provide housing where players live and practice together.

Al Jazeera's David Hawkins reports from a competition in Seoul, where thousands of fans cheer the contestants.

and a computer geeks dreem ? um world craft 3 is hardly the most thrilling of games to play. especaily if you have to lay it 6 hours a day. the important thing is recognising that all activtities and sports are just as arbatrary as eachother. somethign manny people are yet to grasp
