While skiing in Norway - suddenly

..An ordinary skiing trip with the children.

The majesty of the forest.

Suddenly - a sound.

Wind, fog, heavy snow and tall trees don't mix well with high-voltage electricity.

If you look closely there's a power cable running through the treetops. Looks like somehow it got caught in a tree and hence fire. Not exactly tinfoil hat material here.

There are plenty of high voltage wires and wire towers criss crossing the forests of Norway - and there's obviously one here. But - they're usually not supposed to do this.

Yup - the title was hard to translate - "spenning på skitur" - lit. "excitement while skiing", where the Norwegian word for "excitement" also means "voltage". So - pun intended.
