MarineGunrockWe have Na2S2O3 at work, but what the hell did he use for the catalyst? I MUST KNOW.
mintbbbIt is supersaturated (by heating it until it melts), so it doesn't need a catalyst. The seed crystal is a crystal of sodium thiosulfate itself. The liquid would re-crystallize on its on while it cools down, but slowly, and the seed crystal just helps it do it faster.
