Comfort Food - Shepherds Pie Recipe

"English food gets pretty bad press abroad but its no wonder when people come over here in search of 'traditional food' and end up in one of our totally substandard pubs eating a frozen pie with fries... now traditional english food may not have the finesse of fine French cuisine but it does have the ability to bring a smile to your face and make you feel warm inside.... and no other dish does that better than Shepherd's Pie !"

I'd use tomato paste instead of the tomato sauce he used, and skip the beans and mushrooms, but apart from that it's pretty close to how I'd make it. I do wish he'd tasted it before adding yet more seasoning... that always bugs me.
