From Youtube: Harland Sanders, better known as Colonel Sanders (1890 -- 1980) had a stormy relationship with Kentucky Fried Chicken in his later life. He publicly referred to their gravy as "sludge" with a "wallpaper taste". Perhaps the Colonel's secret flavor recipe of 11 herbs and spices dulls or distorts the pallet over a lifetime of ingesting chickeny phlegm. Why would he disparage Kentucky Fried Chicken otherwise?

This reminds me of Liquid Television and/or Night Flight. Man I miss those shows.

I'd heard about these tapes. Good work. Sanders also said, near the end of his days, that the corporates had screwed-up his recipe and, "I wouldn't eat that crap if they paid me."

The Colonel was a respectable man. Ironic that KFC turned into the abomination of human and animal suffering it is today. I found a full liver, kidney and digestive tract in my chicken the other day. Fed it to my cat, thinking about returning to veganism.
