lantern53says...Well...Chomsky is a free-thinker, that's for sure. But he endorsed Jill Stein, the green party candidate. Jill Stein is one of the goofier candidates around, but check her out on youtube yourself.
dystopianfuturetodaysays...If one of the goofier members of a web community finds a politician goofy, does it cancel out or amplify the goofy??
ChairmanDrewsays...Title is misleading. At no point does he explicitly say "vote for Obama". Like lantern53 says above, Chomsky is a free thinker, if anything, in this sound bite he encourages you be the same.
dystopianfuturetodaysays...Fair point. He explicitly says, "If I was a person who was in a swing state, I'd vote against Romney/Ryan, which means voting for Obama, cause there's no other choice."
Yogisays...That's so disappointing.

I just read through the position that Jill Stein takes on the issues. Not only is it the most sane and democratic approach I've seen, it's also the most comprehensive list explaining what to do. If Obama or Romney were honest and tried to put out a list this good, they'd never get elected because we'd know what they were actually going to do.
Jill will never get elected either, but if you gave her half a billion dollars I'll bet she'd get elected because she addresses a lot of issues the way most americans would support, if they were educated on the subjects.
dystopianfuturetodaysays...Democracy Now hosted a 3rd party debate, and Jill had some great ideas. Check it out. I'm not in a swing state, so, my vote is still up for grabs.
silvercordsays...Wow. This man is a conundrum. Same guy who said Obama is worse than Bush. My guess is that he thinks that Obama is even worse than that now, given his continued clusterf*ck in the middle east.
