The way it's presented is a bit misdirecting. Time doesn't slow down, because time is the same as it always is. The brain takes in information faster thus slowing the subject's perception of time. Incidentally, this is why it is so hard to swat a fly, because it takes in information quite fast and perceives the world as slow-motion, compared to us.

I see no reason why our brain shouldn't be able to speed up with the right chemicals, like for instance adrenaline.

Now if we could safely induce these drugs and speed up our brain in the right situations, then super-soldiers are closer than ever.

Time is relative and watching the video through to completion doesn't present any evidence of poorly done science. People get hung up on the word "time" rather than its true meaning. I'd love to see the rest of this documentary.
