I definitely agree that this protection nonsense needs to stop so everyone can get a good look at who she is and what she stands for, but I don't see any valid reason to call this sexism. It may just be that she's incompetent and unqualified and they don't want her to prove it on national TV.

I totally agree, but I think the "sexism" angle is the press's way of throwing the GOP's claims of sexism right back in their face.
