I thought this was worth posting because the writer of the show (David Kelly) writes some of the best politically informative opinions on TV today and he does not seem to hold back his punches. Rather, he really exposes every conflict of interest that the members of the Roberts Court seem to have. And Alan Shore (James Spader), despite his overacting, performs it with aplomb, albeit a rather implausible scenario. Such is the nature of TV.
Here's a taste:
Shore: "My point is, who are you people? You’ve transformed this court from being a governmental branch devoted to civil rights and liberties into a protector of discrimination, a guardian of government, a slave to monied interests and big business and today, Hallelujah, you seek to kill a mentally disabled man…"
