Clip from a Democracy Now! interview with Bolivian President Evo Morales in Copenhagen during COP15. Morales: "Shameful" for west to spend trillions on war and only $10 billion for Climate Change

This is why I love Evo Morales. He was one of the only voices of reason at COP15. What does it say about a country when trillions of dollars are spent fighting futile wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and only $10 billion is offered to address a problem that affects the lives of every species on earth?

This doesn't even address the fact that the American military is the largest single consumer of oil in the world. The US military burns over 395,000 barrels of oil per day, which is as much as the entire country of Greece consumes a day!

Morales and Chavez are potentially the two greatest leaders we have right now. Although I have problems with nations-states, its really too bad that its a matter of time till the U.S. launches its invasion.
