yea as an englishman in New York and San Diego I always felt supremely uncomfortable with the feeling of dread (ie being shot) that I felt while in the states. It just doesn't have the same comfortable cozyness that the British Isles have.

you need a LOT of money to like the UK...

...maybe the kind of money you would get if you wrote a cozy book about how great the UK is.
