I hate American politics for this very reason. I admire Biden for trying to take the high road but you can't get elected unless you play the gotcha game. I am so sad for my country right now.

Biden is just like Nancy Pelosi in that he always talks tough, but when it comes down to brass tacks, nine out of ten times, he backs off and gives the cons whatever they want.
