Beats & Styles - Everything Is Everything (2005)

Beats and Styles is a Finnish rap/pop/rock duo. In 2005, they released the album 'Everything is Everything', the title video was shot in Pripyat near Chernobyl.

The duo consists of DJ Alimo (vocals) and DJ Control (guitar, vocals). Their real names are Asmo Soivio and Jaakko Manninen. When playing at gigs, the duo is accompanied by a drummer, a bass player and a female vocalist. The group has worked together with several artists, including Toni Wirtanen, Michael Monroe and Andy McCoy. The original setup of Beats and Styles also included Raymond Ebanks.

Personal Note: I do remember Chernobyl personally. Some of of the radiation clouds were moving to Finland. I remember being out celebrating the 1st of May and thinking 'Whoa, they told us to be inside, because some radiioactive waste material could be raining down on us' .. And for years, we were told to not gather berries or mushrooms.. Some of it was hystery, some was real..
