From Batman Beyond: Return of The Joker.

Set in the Batman Beyond world, Joker suddenly reappears in spite of how he was considered dead. As the new Batman tries to figure out who this Joker really is, Bruce Wayne comes under attack and nearly dies.

At this point, the question that remained was this: What really happened to The Joker? The answer... well, let's just say that this one is the "PG-13" clip rather than the "NR" version. And alongside with this having the "actual version" of how Joker died, there is also... a bit of torture too.

Honestly, this could be seen as an episode of the original animated series.
