"Surveillance cameras at a US bank have captured a tornado destroying the inside of the building.

The EF-5 tornado that hit eastern Iowa on Sunday May 25 was the strongest to hit the state in 32 years.

The videos taken from CCTV cameras inside the First State Bank in Parkersburg have now been released by officials.

The footage gives a rare look at what happens on the inside of a building when a tornado strikes.

Seven people died in the severe weather that caused at least six tornadoes in eastern Iowa.

Hundreds of homes in Parkersburg, Hazleton, Dunkerton, and New Hartford were destroyed."
