"At a time when Americans of Middle Eastern origin were advised to lay low, some chose to stand up -- and crack jokes." Comedian Azhar Usman, featured in STAND UP: Muslim American Comics Come of Age, airing as part of the America at a Crossroads PBS series.

Usman also relates his experiences of being inspected at airports. He says, 'Now if I were a terrorist, I don't think THIS would be the ideal disguise.' Other comics covered in the same show include comic Ahmed Ahmed, who says his name is on the terrorists most wanted list... twice.
