Arctic life - Very, very beautiful

Short film about my experiences in Lapland during two short trips in September and March (very cold by the way... even more for a Mediterranean guy like me!). Our main target was the northern lights but I could not avoid paying attention to arctic wildlife in general and birds in particular.
In both trips with the help, and patience with "my birds” of Enrique Díez Alonso, astrophysicist of auladeastronomia.es and great expert in auroras.
Mainly shot with Canon 5D II and 24 1.4 for northern lights (great combination for nocturnal time lapses), and Canon 200 2.8 + 2x III for wildlife. Unfortunately I could not manage to bring tele lens as our main goal were the auroras and we walked for several days with heavy backpacks. Maybe next time I will be able to properly film the beautiful Steller and Kings Eiders...
