Amphibex Icebreaker at Work

Manitoba's Water Stewardship Minister Christine Melnick announced that ice breaking on the Red River north of Winnipeg would begin today. We are having a very early thaw, so there is a lot of concern about flooding and disastrous ice jams.

I love watching the Amphibex work - it's like a giant bug crawling along on the ice.
