After this video was recorded, Ms Palmer's record label indicated a desire to edit out shots that showed her belly (apparently due to pudge?). This caused an outcry among her fans, and led to the development of the reBELLYon website and belly gallery in support of Amanda, her belly, and other bellies all around the world and in the media spotlight. In the end, the label backed down to defuse the situation. Since the controversy, Palmer has expressed dissatisfaction with her label and requested to be dropped from the company's roster.
