Enzobluesays...No smoking sections at all. It once took me roughly one and a half hours just to get outside the terminal, get a cig, then back through security. They used to have a smoking section within the terminal that was actually open air,(had no roof!), but that still wasn't good enough for the petty soccer moms so they closed it. I'd bet money that 20% of this line wouldn't be there if they just had a smoking section.
I pay extra just to NOT fly through Chicago now.
P.s.
O'Hare has one of the most moronic layouts of any airports anywhere. Ask anyone whose flown through there once.
sometimessays...wow, what a ripe, juicy target. all those people crammed into one tight space. how does fire code allow that? whatever idiot deemed that to be necessary for "security" deserves to be beaten and fired.
budzossays...I don't know about this security stuff, but apparently if you pay your dues and are a good pilot, Air Canada is a terrific employer.
